Prepainted aluzinc steel sheet in coil is a galvalume steel substrate that has had paint applied to both sides through a continuous paint coating line (CCL) where in the surface of the metal is cleaned, pre-treated and applied with various layers of organic coatings, which produces a uniform paint finish. The metal is unwound, cleaned and chemically treated during the process. Depending on product specifications, one or both sides may then be primed and coated, oven cured and rewound.It is also named color coated steel coil or PPGI, with a hot dip zinc coated steel sheet substrate.
