Zinc Aluminium Coated Metal Galvalume Steel Coils

1.Introduction:
Zinc aluminum coated steel coils are mostly used in construction for prefabricated house or roof and wall system as protective building materials, it is composed of aluminum-zinc alloy and consists of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc and 2% silicon solidified at 600 °C.

2.Characteristics:
(1)Anti corrossion
Hot dipped galvalume steel has many excellent property of corrosion resistance, which is 3 times that of pure galvanized sheet; the beautiful surface make it popular being used as exterior wall board or cladding.

(2)Heat resistance
The aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel plate has good heat resistance and can withstand a high temperature of more than 300 degrees Celsius. So it is usually used in Roofing sheets, Chimney tubes, ovens, illuminators, fluorescent shades.

(3)Heat reflectivity
Aluzinc galvalume steel has a high heat reflectivity, which is twice that of galvanized steel sheets, so it is often used as heat insulation materials.

3.Technique of Production:
The hot dip galvalume technique offer steel substrate a highly corrossion resistance aluminum zinc alloy coatings, which consists of 55% Aluminium, 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% Silicon, this technique has been extensively researched and the proven performance surpasses that of traditional galvanised steel.
